Radio & TV Enterprises provides entire range of services required for setting up of the Community Radio Station of FM radio starting from helping in filing the application for license, Frequency allocation, signing of MOU with Ministry of I&B by the institutes to the completion of the project of setting up of CRS and help in programming. Broadly the services being provided by GIE are as follows:

 

A. Services during project conceptualization

i) Preparation of a conceptual project report covering the preliminary design of the project.

ii) Prediction of coverage and estimation of field strength

iii) Cost estimate of the project

iv) Filing of application to the Government

B. Services during project implementation

i) Selection of site / building & making it suitable for the Project.

ii) Assistance in filing application for Frequency and tower clearance

iii) Procurement of equipment including drawing of specifications of:

* Transmitter equipment

* Speech input equipment

* Antenna

* Tower V * Feeder cable

* Studio equipment

* Power supply equipment V * Ventilation equipment

iv) Installation of various equipment mentioned above.

v) Testing, Integration and Commissioning V vi) Handing over
